I spied it whilst driving half asleep (coming home from work) it looked like a staff, which was a good guess as when I drove all the way back up the carriageway stick me hazards on and got out it was a bull breed lurcher (double of my tia) I nearly papped, my tummy had horrible pangs when I approached it (it was a bitch to)
I could not get it in car like I usually would as I had the 4x4 with regan and silly lab in back and it was to heavy and stiff to get on back seat, I will return later and scan it and get some help to haul it into the car (felt horrible leaving it there)
I suspect judging by the way it lay, it was a very quick death (hardly a mark on it) and it was very cold last night
I will guess, it got lost whilst out lamping/escaped/or was killed whilst crossing the carriageway with no lead (as the lads often do round here) and left (hopefully this was not the case) the dog was in very good nik.
Poor dog
