Dead Horse in West Parley, Dorset

The following is taken from a local equine forum:


Dorset Police have released the following:

"Horse Watch

It is with regret I have to inform you that a horse has been found dead at West Parley this morning. It is initially thought that this was due to a knife wound and enquiries are of course in hand.

The area is used by several fishermen and this may or may not be connected to a report last night of a group of youths fishing in the area.

I cannot speculate any further until enquiries are complete but Dorset Police wish to reassure you that we feel this is an isolated incident.

I hope to be kept updated and if I have any further information I will keep you informed."
