Totally agree, I didn't see the earlier post but why on earth didn't the environment agency get it out asap, then try to locate owner or landowner for recompense of costs etc....... god know's how it'll affect the ecology of the river, hopefully the cold weather will have reduced the impact? BTW RIP horse.
I remember the earlier thread about this and how the poster tried just about everybody possible to get it dealt with but nobody would take responsibility. Disgusting on so many levels.
I remember the earlier post. OP was being sent from pillar to post with everyone denying responsibility. I bet if it was near a councillor's or MP's residence strings would have been pulled. Disgusting situation.
Tradin standards chap said that the firm tat own the land and extract the sand/gravel paid for the hunt to remove carcase, but if they dont own the land why should they apart from goodwill
