As title, just seen a post on the Surrey Horse & Pony fb page about a poor little coloured pony (looks to be pretty young) which has been dumped at the side of the road over the weekend. Apparently it's been there since yesterday morning and the council/police are not planning on taking it away until at least tomorrow. Poor little thing, RIP.
This is the 3rd dumped dead pony I've heard of in the last week (H&H posted on fb about another two a couple of days ago).
I just find this awful situation we have with equine welfare ATM absolutely, exhaustingly heartbreaking. The recent discussions on fly grazing in parliament seem to have amounted to diddly squat. What can be done about all of this?
Maybe MPs should be bombarded with pictures of neglected and dead horses and ponies until they actually get off their backsides and do something?!
