Am I right in thinking GH Sport horses is Gav Hetherington? Just seen a post of his of a horse that has been with a ' respectable ' dealer locally, he is now with him. Does he only have cronks?

I went to try a horse at his last year. He left me to tack up, didn’t have anyone to ride it for me first, and as soon as I was mounted went off somewhere else. The horse was obviously lame in front when I asked it to trot.
He offered me another one to test ride, and the reaction I got from it when I asked it to trot on felt like it was going to explode. My friend got on instead, and could get it going nicely, but agreed it was far from the chill hack I was looking for.
He then told me I wouldn’t find better for my small budget (£4k, plenty for a happy hack and got one for that in the end!).
Obviously one anecdote isn’t data, but personally I wouldn’t go back. And I’ve seen some worse stories on Facebook.

Yes it's one of the many various names he uses. He's been advertising to buy brood mares lately.
There's plenty of info on the generic dodgy dealer fb pages and he even has his own dedicated entirely to him.

I used to be decisive, now I'm not so sure...
I went to his yard just the once to look. I made my mind up pretty quickly that I wouldn't be buying from him. He showed me a couple but let's just say that they weren't what I was looking for, and they were the better ones that were around the yard.

Thought so. Bit baffled how this horse has ended up there. Obviously something wrong with him poor boy. Friend enquired about the horse when he was with the other ' dealer', they didn't say much other than he could take the pee.

I always think it says a lot about a dealer when they have to have multiple business names

He advertises and offers to buy any horses in Scotland and repackages them to sell from north England. Great if you want to offload a difficult animal…not so great for potential buyer of that horse.
