Thanks - looking for a sane, sensible horse to help restore my friend's confidence. Once she's rebuilt it she'll just be hacking and competing Novice Dressage. Do they sell that type of horse

I don't know, you'd have to ring them. They seem to mostly have young sports horses, which is what I wanted. They do often have more horses in than what it shows on the website.

Depends where in the Noth West, but if you are up in Cumbria Dally Birkett is a good, honest dealer. We bought Captain from him.

Sane sensible horse from a no-nonsense dealer, try Vicky Yoxall in Higher Poynton, near Middlewood Way, near Stockport (sorry can't help more than that) . She has "leg on each corner" horses at fair prices and she is honest.

Another vote for Vicy Yoxall. She sells regularly on Horsemart if you look on this link you will see some of her selection - she may have more if you ring her up.

Their temperament is one of the main things she picks them on. And as well as your Irish cobs and ponies she has some that will go on and become decent competition rides. I bought mine from here earlier this year and have been delighted with him he has tonnes of ability but the sort of temperament that is hard to find in such a young horse. But I have heard Irish horses do generally have lovely temperaments.

If I were in the market for a new horse, they would be my first stop!
