Does anyone know of dealers in South East (preferably Kent) that will part exchange? Looking for a safe sane dressage/hacking type (eg Irish), it wont be required to jump or hunt etc.

Looking to part exchange an allrounder tb that will do really well at RC, low level eventing etc with a little work

As nice as they look (and they do;) I've heard nothing but bad things about Kent Horse producers. Not my personal opinion, but i had friends warn me off them when I was looking.

Little london horses near canterbury , peter folwell is very well known and reliable.
Harrington horses have lots of young horses and also take sales liveries so might be worth a look .
good luck

I would recommend Little London too. Sadly there are many to steer clear of in Kent, recommend you google all names of establishments and owners before you go anywhere.

Thanks for replies so far - peter folwell won't take part x but is on the list for if the horse sells first.
HH not suitable as friend needs something broken, safe and experienced.

Not sure if she does part exchange but if your friend is looking for a good safe horse with experience she won't go wrong if she goes to see Jo Murrell at Alkham Valley community project. She specialises in safe horses and isn't overpriced either.

Emma Hinkley at Clip Clop Traders has loads of recommendations on here (is also where I got my big boy from 6 years ago). She takes sales liveries, so may well do part ex.

My horse came from Martins Irish Horses (near Maidstone) and I know a few others that have come from there.

My horse is fab, completely as advertised and is turning into a smashing little horse (came 8th BE80 2nd time out!) and the other horses I know from there are fab, too. Never heard a bad word said. I would 100% go back if/when I want another one!

ETA: Not sure they take part exchange, though!
