I am still looking for another horse and have come across "Kent horse producers" a few times. Just wondered if anyone has experience with them and if you rate them or not. Thanks guys
depending on your price bracket, I have a friend who i have had 3 fantastic horses off of- she gets them from one local breeder, all have fantastic breeding and are worked, schooled and competed regularly, and are most importantly all very happy horses. Trust her very much- she is in wiltshire. PM me if you want her number to try, or i can tell you what she has in at the moment to see if it would suit you!
Don't know what you are looking for but i know of a lovely big gelding who is about to come up for sale in the south east. He is about 16.3hh, well built and is fabulous at dressage. He is also a good jumper and good to hack. Pm me if he is what you're looking for.
Thanks for replys so far, im after a TBx or ISH type between 15.2-16.3 tops. Gelding preffered (although mare with good attitude considered). Allrounder/low level event. Love jumping so dont want a dressage horse
must be able to hack safely alone and in company cos my current horse has landed me in hospital several times whilst hacking so kind of losing my nerve going alone!!
oh, also im coloured horse crazy
I took a dealer from Kent to court and won for not honouring her warranty. She has not complied with the court order either. She has had a couple of horses advertised with her phone number on Kent horse Producers website so by association I would not touch! pm me if you want more details.
Clip clop traders has always been well recommended on here. Never heard a bad thing about them. Would definately go there first off if I was looking for another horse.
Have looked at Equine agents, clip-clop traders and prestwood farm online, Prestwood farm only seems to sell ponies and at a high price so not really wat im after. EA horses always look a bit scraggly so wasnt sure if it was dodgy or not!!
Ride Irish? They are brilliant and have really quality horses, we have a selection on our yard and they are by far the easiest and most straightforward horses here - not cheap but you get what you pay for!!
We have a 15.1hh coloured irish mare, small but rides big and takes up your leg, 5yo working really nciely etc just started jumping nicely and SO safe to hack out, like totally bombproof and unphased by anything. have pics feel free to pm although are looking for 6.5k dont know what your budget is!
my boy looked awful when i first got him, but 5 months later he went out and was county showing, aswell as being placed affliated in every class i done with him.
the main thing i found was he was a gentle man to hunt, and handle and was so good with heavy traffic.
