daughters mare has always been fine leaving her friends to hack ,go to shows etc,not so happy about others leaving her... had a week at newmarket for lameness investigations and since then has been distressed at going out alone. she is on box/small paddock rest and has a short daily controlled walk with her friend who is recovering from a tendon problem . i am concerned about battling with her and would normally insist she goes out on a walk alone but dont want to damage her. she has had sedalin daily which takes the edge off but i am due to take her back to newmarket next week for a review and am worried about how she will react. any bright ideas. i think the whole experience has really unsettled her and she is already a worrier. i can give her sedalin in the morning and she is going in a small horsebox with a transporter,i just want to make it as sress free as possible.
