Why do the quotes and smilies never work in this section of the forum?

Please could you fix the problem (especially the quotes) as it makes reading posts b***** hard work.

We are still being punished for some shenanigans that happened many moons ago. Someone objected to their photo album being hot linked to publicly display his pre-ban hunting photos. As a result he re-organised to show some porno pics. As a result mark up and picture posting were disabled. Doubt Admin will switch them back on :-(
