Dear Lord ~ Whatever Next?

I swear that seller tries and sells a lot on Horsemart - I tend to check the sussex ads reguarly as a.) so I can see if old share pony is still for sale and b.) just being nosey about what's selling.

I'm up for it - poor little chap

Ummmmmm.................

Why o why indeed. Poor pony. Who's in Sussex so that we can rescue him!!!

I hope he finds a nice new loving home with people who actually know what they are doing!

This is sort of how i got my dun pony, Dollar.

He was in a field wild at 3 and still entire living with his sire and a barren mare. He was owned by a friend of a friend and he wanted to give some of his ponies away. He'd also got another field of other mares breeding with another stallion which i also took on a few months later. All of them were all healthy and checked on regularly just not handled or touched.

Anyway we had to take up a load of building fences, like big metal grids and build a big round pen around the trailer. There were 6 of us and so we rounded him up into this. I'm so glad my uncle came as although he has no experience with horses he was just so good with Dollar and got him in the trailer.

So don't dis it, i've got an excellent FREE pony who i love to bits!!! He's now broken to harness.

Also the other ponies are now very well looked after, Dollars sire has been gelded and apparently the owner has built new stables and fencing, wouldn't recognise it!

I think the ponys original owner had perhapd bought him off this dealer who is now selling him, and now the dealer is trying to get rid of the pony for the owner because it is either dangerous, or there is something very wrong with it.

No one would just think oh well I cant catch that one that I paid over 2k for, so I will go and buy another!
