Dear nancy,
Incase you hadnt noticed, its been rather cold today, but not sure you had noticed, snuggled up in your neck rug and underneath that native Clydesdale fur! It has also been rather muddy of late, but you and your friends have taken to grazing the other side of a boggy stream, 3 fields away from where I bring you in. I can see you, and I know you are looking at me, but clearly you just arent hungry enough to come in today.

You know the score, I call, you come over, you come in for champion feed. But today, you thought you would play truant and stay out with your mates, knowing that unless I came and dragged you in, you werent going to come! Well yes, you did make me feel guilty, my nose was cold so your cloth ears must be too! Please ensure you change fields in the night and be a little closer so you can come in and be pampered as usual!, your devoted owner xx

I was purely thinking of you knowing that it could only warm you up to walk your way across 3 fields to get to me, it certainly warmed me up earlier anyway. Please do not think I am not hungry enough for you to bring me in....its the opposite, but I am putting your needs first. I saw how cold you were and made an informed decision, you could only get colder stood there waiting for me to come to you!
Thanks for dinner, it was yummy!
