Dear horse, I mentioned to you last night that the farrier is coming to see you this morning, and I need your full co-operation. We have prgressed from IV sedation (which cost me 170.00 all in for a pair of front shoes that werent even jimmy choos) I shall now be giving you the yellow stuff that makes you feel sleepy again. The whole tube. (thats another 17.00 ontop of the shoes for your monster sized feet) I will give you heaps of carrots, everytime you respond positively, and hopefully if you behave you will have a nice pair of shoes again. Now I know it doesnt make you very sleepy, just a little more agreeable, and if you dont behave, it will be me having the Sedaline next time!! Wish me luck folks!.....

Eek, good luck! I find the farrier visit to be rather stressful too and I always think it's embarassing if the horse plays up. I really hope that your horsie decides that it's worth the carrots to be good. My own horse has improved with the help of global herbs instant super calm and a treat about once a minute!
