I understand you like a laugh, the same as everyone. But I would appreciate it if you could refrain from practical jokes while the temperatures are 10 below freezing. As it is, it's taking me at least twice the normal time to sort your B&B accommodation out, what with having to carry buckets of water half way across the garden from the back door and making sure you have a 'packed lunch' of hay to take with you when you go out adventuring.
Playing 'let's hide by the big hedge and pretend we are stolen/lying dead in a ditch' while I trek round the field in the pitch black after spending several hours completing the school run and after school activities marathon on icy roads with the children is really not very helpful. And the fact that you only decided to show your grubby faces after I had walked all the way to the bottom of the field, run all the way to the feed room, found some pony nuts and rattled the scoop was really pushing it.
Especially since you are normally standing by the gate at this time asking to come in. I acknowledge the fact that normally I can see Milligan even in the dark as he is grey, but taking advantage of the camouflague against the snow is mean. You need to remember that Father Christmas' robin is very busy at this time of the year, and if this sort of behaviour repeats itself, that stocking may well be empty on Christmas day.
I hope by the time I put three layers on to give you your midnight snacks, you are truly repentant, but somehow I doubt it.
Signed,
