so took Mr Sully for just a 1'6-2'3 at royal in the hope we would just skip around it in a rhythm also thought it as 2 phase so hoped it would be small and we could pull out of the jump off if we went clear and all up to height... alas decided to change to one phase and all up to height.
poor suls has never jumped at filler or plank so at 17 this was quite a shock he warmed up cool as a cucumber which threw me... peasant surprise!!! then went in unfortunately knew the 1st fence would freak him as was a big yellow oxer at about 2'5(bloody cheeky if u ask me!) so he refused then flew it then knocked fence 2 but jumped the double beautifully then 4 was ok but not great so instead of turning tight into a big double i pulled up and just circled so although elimination i like to think of it as retiring... :/

anyway very pleased as then went and popped the a random one in the ring that was big upright which he met perfectly and warm up fence again and he was such a good boy wouldnt have chosen to do that with him and was definitely over faced but coped very well and no bucking rearing or bolting so result!!!!!!!!!!!
off to do some intense training soon so hopefully soon we will be world beating
tea and bacon butties all i can offer... (and a big smile!)

You've done a million times better than I did with my mare. :D Her SJ debut consisted of her getting completely over excited and just rearing repeatedly in the warm up ring, we didn't even jump a single warm up fence! :p
