Decathlon any good?

I've had a pair of jodphurs from there, reasonable price and ok quality, not much of a choice in the one local to me so can't comment on anything else, they did seem to have a good range of hats though.

Yep - great for bits and pieces. Good fleeces, socks, jackets. Not sure on the quality of their safety equipment though i.e. hats as would prefer to buy a recognised make. Only one head etc.

I only go to the one near Calais as nothing near me in the UK, so know they have a good selection there.

Some of the stuff is very good. I still own and wear the first ever pair of jodhpurs I owned (now 3 years old) which I got from Decathlon.

I bought Jock a fluorescent exercise sheet for £12.99. It's made of the same mesh seen on sports tabards so doesn't interfere with his body temperature at all, which means I can use it all year round. The only annoying thing is that the reflective horse pattern is on the wrong side as it's made in France:rolleyes: (although I use it as an indicator to check I'm on the right side of the road - I get confused with that sort of thing easily:o).

I've also got some other clothes from their Fouganza range which are all holding up fabulously.

The only thing that does suit it's price is the Mane and Tail Conditioner I bought (Fouganza), you need to use a lot of that stuff for it to be effective!

I got a pair of their gloves (sort of like rockeis if u have a good enough imagination :-P) and was v impressed!

Fantastic... my last two riding hats came from Decathlon. Reasonable priced. unusual and up to spec :)
