Decent Wellies?

Sorry everyone, I know this has been done before, but any suggestions for decent, long lasting wellies - preferably that don't cost the earth would be hugely appreciated.

I'm sick of only having boots for a month or two and then having wet feet!

Dublin Neoprene lined wellies!! very sturdy and very warm and they were only £40.00 :)
I got mine in the sale so they were £25.00
 
I am really hard on shoes and wellies but paid £7 for a pair of dunlop wellies from my local tack shop and they have lasted me over a year.

They are starting to get a bit thin on the sole now as I walk in them a lot with the dog! But I don't think I would ever go back to buying expensive wellies again. I have tried muckboot, hunters and everthing in between and I've trashed them in months!

I've got a pair of Dublin river boots for posh but for everyday I love my cheep wellies!!! x
 
Aigle Benylsport - so comfy, do not rub, keep your feet warm, don't slip in the ice. Why oh why did I spend all those years in Hunters :D
 
Muck boots, without a doubt! Mine are still looking brand new a (hard!) 2 years in, no signs of giving up at all yet. They were pricy (I was used to getting £10 ones before!) but the dry warm feet I have and no replacements needed are totally worth it!
 
Mine are from the Dickie's trade catalogue, about £13 I think. They have steel toe caps and are kitemarked for safety on construction sites, so I feel very safe in them (I have a remarkable talent for getting my feet under shod hooves). I'm on my second pair now, as the last ones did only last a year, but considering I was wearing them for hours of yard work every day (working at a riding school/livery yard) and they only broke eventually because I got trodden on and ripped them, I think they could have lasted longer. And of course, they're so cheap that even if you do have to buy a pair a year it would take a long time to shell out the same amount of money you'd be paying for posh ones.
 
I'm a complete wellie trasher -i live in them until they split or break some way..
I've tried dunlop, town and country, joules and hunters and now im in aigles - which are super :)

I've had my Hunters for about 12 years, so not bad really for the money!
 
I work in a tack shop and i have to say that we probably have fewest problems with the muckboots, (derwent is a good general welly or the tyne for riding) and if there is a problem they are usually very quick to get it sorted and arrange a replacement pair. Unfortunatly Hunters don't appear to be as good quality as they used to be and they have gone up a lot in price. Ariat mudbusters are good if you need a welly that is also safe to ride in and again if you do find you have a problem ariat are usual quick to get it sorted!

Le Chameau. They cost me about £65 from a garden centre but have outlasted my husbands muckboots, dublins and hunters. If anything I wear wellies more and treat them meaner. Had them years and my feet are still dry.
 
Aigle or Le Chameau. Will never buy another pair of Hunters (unless they suddenly release 'Hunter Originals' or somesuch that are as good quality as the old ones :rolleyes:), but even those were freezing cold. Currently have neoprene-lined Aigles and they are wonderful.
 
Muck boots - good grip, warm and easy to keep clean and I've had them for nearly 3 years and they still look great even though I wear them everyday. Even wear them when taking the dogs out.
