that there is nothing wrong!

My mare recently came out in 'sunburn' scabs (diagnosed as photosensitive a couple years back)so we applied the usual creams and covered up thought nothing of it and they cleared up.

Recently she's been a bit off colour, standing in the corner of her field with her head down and yawning a bit excessively. Her scabs had come back in force and spread across her face even on black skin. She's also less interested in food..normally if you leave hay in her field she eats it all up and goes of searching for more but the last couple days she's been leaving some and eating it unenthusiastically. She's still interested in treats but it's half-hearted and I noticed she left a bit of her dinner too which is totally out of character.

She was cleared of Liver problems when first diagnosed but now I am concerned.

Hi
I hope your mare is ok.
I always think if they are off the food, its a sign a vet needs to look at them.
If she was previously cleared of liver problems, I'd say it would unlikely to be liver problems now, so hopefully she'll be well again soon.
fingers crossed, keep us informed.
Kx

Thanks all of you. Don't know if I can wait til Thursday but I have college tomorrow and don't know the timetable. So if I am away my mum will go down there for me. I really hope that if there is anything wrong, it's minor. :(

report is she's noshing on her hay and doing her silly spooky 'thing' but still want to have her checked.
sounds like she may be a bit better than i fear though so i am relieved at the moment .
