Hi all again!! As some of you may know I've been having issues with my mare only had her 7 months got her for a mother daughter share we both novices first time horse owners. Well basically viewed her a couple of times was just what we needed a nice calm quiet ride well that all soon changed it comes to light she hasn't really done much if she doesn't want to do something will buck and also rear on occasions can be bolshy and pull away and been times she has pulled and bolted off when being lead.
Anyway have considered selling her on occasions seller offered to buy her back but I know he will just put her in sales I don't want that for her. I do believe there is a good pony in there she just needs to be shown how to behave but unfortunately we not right for that job as if yet.
My old riding instructor will take her in for schooling she said for 3 weeks so don't know what to do horsey friends have told me this should help and once she knows how to behave she should then be better out hacking etc.
We are attached to her so don't want to give up on her but sometimes feel like we are losing the battle!!
My daughter has lost her confidence on her and now doesn't want to ride her we have another one who is safe and a novice ride we both ride him but our mare isn't getting any work at the moment as we not confident enough to get on her.
Will the schooling work ? I know we will have to put the work in afterwards but if we can just make her safe.
What to do aaaggghhh !!
