Decisions - Go for a hack OR blast in the fields?

Time is marching on, been busy making a larger paddock for Oliver and Dinker.

So, I've opened the gates and "walked the course" to four large fields. Ground is ok. Can't decide whether to go for a blast across the fields or whether to have a nice sedate hack.

What would you do?

Is it misty there? It's still icy and thick with mist here so I've had to put going out on hold.

If I could I'd go for a good blast, you might not get time for the next few days

If the ground is okay ie frost free, go for a blast whilst you can! Enjoy yourself!

Daughter and I went for a blast yesterday - it was such fun and I nearly fell off for laughing so much...I have never seen a little ponies legs go so fast - they were just a blur, like a Thelwell Cartoon!

Today we had a nice sedate hack with one controlled canter (much to their disgust)

Definitely go for a blast!

I would go out for a hack - I'm off out for a hack in Boxing Day with the girls from our yard - I can't wait! That way if you have too many drinks Christmas Day, and feel a bit queezy, and still have a gentle a ride!!!
