After mulling through various horse options overnight and still cant make a decision, I know im a ditherer, I like to take the safe option and have fall back position especially when it comes to any of my animals. ! How many of you are a jump right in and get on with it and take the consequences type ? Im unfortunately married to a decisive, live for the day type, which does make things quite difficult sometimes! Like household etc. I like to get everything sorted as soon as it rears its ugly head. he waits til it breaks down then gets it fixed. Holidays are a n ightmare, cos I research everything and organise he just packs his case on the morning we go away and then hasnt brought any underwear !!

I organise everything because like you said OH would end packing winter jumpers and ski goggles when we are off to Spain!!!

Anyway, sometimes it's good to be organised and other times you have to let your heart rule your head, use your gut feelings and go with the flow.
You will know when you have found the right horse but just don't let the little things give you an excuse to back out!!!

It's good to have a plan but remember that plans can change.

Go on...what's the worst that could happen?!!?

For me it depends on the situation and whether I consider it to be a high risk decision - i.e. like buying a horse! I am a worrier by nature though so prefer not to think things through for too long as I tend to go abit mad!

I am quite decisive! I would rather someone made a wrong decision but could say "well, I did it for x or y reason" than dithered and made no decision at all!

I am very organised and decisive with regards to the care of my horses but a bit hopeless at home, the fridge is frequently bare and the ironing pile is always out of control. Its basically because I spend too much time at the yard (so time is well spent!).

Not a ditherer.:)

If I want something, I want it NOW, if I cant have it now, or as soon as, then I'll go somewhere else.

I find dithering stressful and tiring, and as I am inherently lazy, being decisive is much easier.
