I was supposed to go hunting on New Year's Eve, but couldn't catch the pony in time...so now, we're going tomorrow! My first time ever, and I don't know if he's ever been before, so green ribbons all around. I even have my proper jacket now, although I'll be wearing black breeches (they're much warmer than my cream ones, and don't have a huge hole in them in an embarrassing place). Any last-minute advice??

Ibuprofen, good idea! Maybe I'll take some before going; it's supposed to help prevent soreness.

My biggest worry is the pony stopping and me flying headfirst into something, because he's not a confident jumper...then again, we're supposed to be following the non-jumpers this time! And maybe with a lead, he'll actually jump a log or two.
