So, for the first time in a long time, i felt at peace whilst schooling.
To understand what a big deal this is for me, please see the two previous entries. So it has been a short period that dee has been out of her double and whar can i say? The change is significant! Delicia is longer in her frame, longer in her neck, softer, round, soft and engaged in her back and not rushing!
I feel safe and in control. She stretches without yanking the reins out of my hand and does not foam/froth in her mouth anymore. All of this was achieved in a french link loose ring snaffle. The bit i broke her in with.
I am amazed and so happy with her. So much so that i am talking her out to play tomorrow, we are doing two novice tests. This is a big test for the both of us so i wait with breath that is baited to see how she behaves.
She is easier to handle on the ground and seems back to her old self. She even muteral groomed me today (eek!)
Anyway, no ridden pics yet but a few of her condition. I think she has put more weight on again!
