Ok, having a little debate with my friend.

What is your understanding of condition. For me, condition on a horse demonstrates overall health but for example, a "conditioning feed" is something used for poor doers to increase weight gain (not overall condition ).

Is condition the top layer of fat???

What started this debate is that I don't believe micronised linseed should be fed in large amounts ie around a mug to a good doer cob in summer when on good grazing. The advice given by a reputable feed company is that linseed can be fed in large amounts and will not aid weight gain.

Can anyone solve this debate for us please?
