Dehydrated and lame doggie

We struggle with our lab, he doesn't drink enough water. He went shooting on saturday and he has been off colour and slightly lame yesterday and today and has a dry nose and just under the weather. If he were a horse i'd give him electrolytes! I know they do a doggie version, but i can't get any for a few days as takes a while with postage.

Does anyone know if the horse electrolytes (surelyte by Dobson and Horrell) are similar and would be safe to give him, obviously in reduced measures??

Not sure about the electrolytes... but when our lab was under the weather and not drinking we gave him tepid water with a spoon honey and a tiny bit of salt in it which he was happy to drink and mean he was getting something.

Oh no poor Rupert!! No suggestions or advice to give but i hope he's feeling better soon.

Perhaps give the gorgeous vet a call??

Hey bex, that is what my mum is thinking...te he!!! I think any excuse for though!! He is o.k just not himself and won't drink! Damn dog!!
