if after 3 years of such hassle and pain and presuming all veterinary checks have been done to see that there is no physical reason for his behaviour then i would pts.What would happen if that pony got into the hands of a child.It really doesn't bear thinking about

Yup, bad days are all relative. Agree with above, the only people I let within 50 feet of this pony are me, the farrier and vet. And I sedate it before the vet. I wouldn't even have it on a public yard.
