Due to the great response from everyone last month!:

We are currently looking for demonstration horses for Lulworth Castle, Spirit of the Countryside Show, Dorset on 9th-10th August and our Open Day, Northants on 16th August.

Horses that are ready for their first saddle and rider? (must be halter broken) or a horse with remedial issues such as spooky? Or do you have a horse you cannot load? We are looking for the toughest non-loaders in the area!!

Practical Horsemanship is a collaboration between Dan Wilson and Grant Bazin, who have been involved with horses their whole lives.

The methods they utilise are those of non-violence and using the horses own inbuilt body language to establish clear boundaries, allowing them to train horses in a calmer and safer way.

If you are interested please email me at dani@practicalhorsemanship.co.uk

Many Thanks

Whereabouts in Northants is your Open Day please? And if we offered a horse would you be able guarantee that they would NOT do Join Up as not suitable for the one we have in mind. Thanks.

Hi ISH_Mad, the open day is at Grants Yard, Byfield, Between Banbury and Daventry. I read on another thread that you might know Grant? It would be great if you could email me some info about your horse and why it is not suitable to use Join Up with him/her? Or if you know Grant you could give him a ring to discuss this. Thanks

what about a mare that's had it's head screwed up by some numpty and although haltar broken and quite quite sweet is terrified of vets, men and (come to think of it) most other people...? You willing to help rectify someone elses major cock up?

Oh, and is it free and guaranteed not to screw said mare up further? (it's just it's taken them this long to be able to handle her themselves)
