25th July Massage for Horse Owners,
Tushingham Arena, 7pm to 9pm
An introductory course for horse owners and riders. Learn how to massage your horse to improve his well being, reduce the risk of injury and improve his performance. Cost £20 per person.
6th September Equine Behaviour Workshop,
Tarporley Community Centre, 7 to 9pm
Jane Henry qualified equine behaviourist presents this interactive workshop on equine behaviour. Learn about the causes of abnormal behaviours, how to assess problems and how your management regimes may be affecting your own horses behaviour.
Cost £8 per person
12th September - Centred Riding Dismounted Workshop,
Lostock Community Centre, 7 to 9pm
Lisa Pritchard of The Modern Horse presents this interactive, workshop. Learn the different forms of contact and its effects on horse and rider. How to be strong without pulling. What a half-halt should feel like. Cost £5 per person
15th September Rising Stars - Kindly sponsored by Top Spec
Crumleigh Heath Farm, Comberbach. 11am to 5pm
Demonstrations all day in the out door arenas from International Showjumper Keith Shore - Eventer and Trainer Richard Carruthers - Grand Prix Dressage rider and trainer Janet Horswill. There will be plenty of trade stands and further demonstrations indoors. Prebooked tickets £5 per junior £8 per adult.
