dengie alfa a oil replacement

I am on my last bag of alfa a oil and won't be able to get any more before the end of the month. It is impossible to get here in France. I can however get dodson and horrell. I have had a look on their website and have seen that they do have bagged alfafa. Is it ok for me to buy a bag and mix it in with my alfa a oil until the end of the month? I will add extra oil to replace the oil in the alfa a. If I feed half and half until the end of the month is that ok?

You should be fine unless your horse needs to avoid molasses/ sugars as I think the D&H Alfa stuff contains them although at low level ...

Thanks for all your answers! I will go out and buy a bag.
My horse does not have any problems with having a bit of molasses in his diet. He is not a good doer.
