Who feeds this as a hay replacer?? i've been giving fattie a small (hay sized) section of haylege and two big handfuls of DGD, no hard feed at the mo as for the next two weeks i have no time to ride so he's out in the fattie paddock and in at night does this sound ok? He is a 14.3hh Connemara X

I give my Haffie 2 big scoops of DGD a day. She's out in the Fat Field at night and in a regular paddock in the day and that keeps her weight down well plus she looks really good, with a lovely dapply/shiny coat, so I think the DGD seems to be working.

i was thinking about one of these kind of feeds for my pony but he seems better off just living off grass all year round i know someoe with an ex racer out on grass 24/7 with no feed and he is fine
