Has anyone tried dengie happy tummy and if so what do you think of it? Am thinking of trying it for a possible new pony as its moving over 200 miles away from its herd. Any views much appreciated, thanks.

Hi, this is one of the things I looked into for my pony as he often gets a runny tum from grass and also at shows but after much internet research (mainly on this forum! lol) I decided to try brewers yeast and yeasacc and have had good results so far, I went to a show on wed and didn't have any runny poos. I bought both products off ebay.

Hi yes, I have had my Dartmoor pony on it now for about 3 months now, and health wise, he really is blooming. He used to regularly colic. Sometimes we could put it down to bloat, ie, a little too much grass, (3 hours out instead of 2.5 hours!) but occasionally it happened after he had returned from a show or if he had been on a longer hack, almost as though this had stressed him. Initially he wasn't over keen on the feed and much preferred Safe and Sound, but now he enthusiastically eats it. We are just returning to full work following a bout of laminitis, but as far as I can see, it's low or zero sugar so non heating, kind on the stomach and contains Protexin. Highly recommend. :) Good luck!

I used over winter after my horse coliced, he also windsucked so I treat him like an ulcer horse.
TBH I didnt notice any difference really and have reverted back to Happy Hooves and more recently Molasses free happy hooves (or healthy hooves) I do add Potexin gut balancer ad think this stuff is great for any horse. He's also been on Brewers yeast recently as im taking part in a trial by Global Herbs. I recommend Protexin.
