I might have been foolish and bought Dengie Healthy Tummy for my 14.1hh 420kg(ish) pony. It wasn't the feed I wanted. However, I thought that because a couple of the horses in my yard have ulcers (
), I wanted to support their gut health more, just to be on the safe side. The problem is I forgot to think about his extra weight (stupid me, I know), and I don't know if this feed will cause him to gain weight with it being high in fibre and having oil in it?
I'm kinda stressing now lol why did I buy it idk but I've got it now so I'm going to have to make due somehow.
Anyway, it suggests feeding 2kg a day for his weight. Is there a possible way I could feed him less without him missing out on vitamins?
