As it says in the title thinking of feeding it along side copra for weight gain.

How much digestible energy does it have it doesn't say on the website

Has:D anyone used it good or bad reviews.

Thanks.

IIRC it's 10.7Mj/kg. If you email Dengie they reply very quickly ( during working hours) with answers to any queries.

I've just bought a couple of bags to try as my horse has decided he doesn't like A-A oil anyone. So far he's eating all the HT and holding condition. I initially didn't realise that HT is designed to be a complete feed ( like winergy). I'm not feeding the RDA but am feeding alongside Alphabeet, micronised linseed and half rations of Equine Answers 365.

Crude Protein % 14
Oil % 8.5
Crude Fibre % 27
Copper mg/kg 12
Selenium mg/kg 0.25
Zinc mg/kg 64
Biotin mg/kg 6
WSC (sugars) % 4.5
Starch 2

best ask Dengie themselves tho they are a pain for not putting it on the website. Might be cheaper to feed something a bit higher energy wise to start with and then just add the protexion/prebiotic, eg micronised linseed or something highish in oil?

ingredients are
Ingredients: Alfalfa, alfalfa pellets, soya oil, vitamin and mineral premix, protexin in-feed formula, yeast and prebiotics, herbs

Cant see anything heating there, also nothing much to react to unless your horse doesnt tolerate alfalfa.

I switched to this from Alpha oil and found she was a bit more energetic and little bit more fizzy being a WB. put it down to the soya oil. she looks well on it though and was being worked enough so it wasnt a problem.

Milkmade thanks for that I'm feeding it at the recomended level 5 scoops plus copra 1kg it says recomended for horses in rest to light work mine is in med -hard and needs to add some condition without the fizz hope I'm feeding enough x
