What class are you doing and where? If its unaffiliated tweed will be just fine.

I wear black boots and chaps or long boots as thats all I have. and cream jods.......my arse looks bad enough in cream ones let alone white!!! I think you wear white when you get onto the higher classes...not sure though

we are going to attempt the walk and trot test (unaffiliated) i have a navy show jacket with velvet collar, which is apparently ok

its up to you either black or brown boots or white or cream jods, i wear black long boots white jods and a black jacket and im not exactly skinny either but i much prefer whitejods

At its unaffiliated you can get away with pretty much anything!!

As long as you are clean, smart and presentable you will be fine!! My main aim is to survive.....
