I have a see saw kind of day tomorrow
In the morning I have my 6 monthly check up at the dentist
and in the afternoon I have the lovely vet coming to see Oliver who is still lame!
Now im trying to get my lardy carcass back to riding my sister tbx so ive cut back on all....well...most ..of the sweets, cakes, choccy, crisps etc. so for the past few weeks ive been really good and not risked another cavity! I brush twice a day sometimes more if ive eaten sumat garlicky, and floss every day and use that flipping horrible mouth was that im sure is drain cleaner in another bottle??
But the last time i was at the dentist i had to have a filling! and not the sweet jam flavoured ones i like it was the injection in the gum and lose all sensation in your lips kind of filling:mad now im hoping there will be no fillings 2moro-at the current time i cant feel any new cavities but then im no dentist..i may have several i could be just blocking them from my subconsious mind?
but then the lovely vet will cheer me up- i like my vet and hes never killed any of my animals while operating on them so im pleased about that!
now the boys got castrated last week- Dave the yearling was quite sensible,he allowed his world to stop spinning before attempting to get up off the paddock floor and had a snooze while he was down there just coz he likes to snooze! (note to self google narcolepsy)
but oliver ...now ollie was a different ball game! his foot twitched and that was it! Head up,bum up,head down, bum down and in the middle his legs went akimbo with the movement of his bum! hanging onto his lungeline he then tried to do a forward roll..his front legs were not listening to his brain signals and thlummp he was in a heap
bambi on ice was the description the sister used.
So he developed nerve damage in his back and after a few days of powders in his miniscule dinner bucket( the elder vet had the cheek to call him tubby!) hes slowly recovering. the vet is checking him tomorrow and acupuncture has been recommended for him!
however i dont know whos going to want hang onto the little tank in a stable while somebody sticks needles in his bum?
so whats everyone else got planned for their day ???
