Anybody used it? The excema one (looks like a Boett). Is it as good as a boett? My Rambo Sweet Itch hoody doesnt seem to have done the job this year so I want something more like a boett but dont want an actual one as my horse shreds rugs!!

My horse lives in one 24/7 at the moment, no problems

I cannot compare it to a Boett as I'm too mean to pay £150+ for one

However did try a snuggy hood, which is a disaster as a Large is way too small for his head. Got to sell that, but guess its the wrong time of year!

I had the same problems with snuggyhoods plus they're just as expensive!! Boett is brilliant but TBH that looks exactly the same so if I were to get another I would defo try that one.

plus..I don't think there is a wrong time of year for sweet itch TBH. It seems its almost an all year round thing for bad sufferers

I tried the one that Sojeph linked to - it works well but my horse (& a couple of friends who also got them) got far too hot under it when the weather was warm because the material isn't the same as Boetts.

I know have a Solva rug (can't remember the website but a google search on Solva Icelandics should get it for you) which is the same material as a Boett but cut sloghtly differently & a little bit cheaper. I've been really pleased with it - no itching & no overheating even when the temperature was in the mid-30s!!

Yes - have wondered about overheating. My hairy cobbie doesn't in his Boett but the other looks a bit shiny!

Ok I'll stick my hand up - we supply the eBay one.

I don't have problems with overheating, but I do use another fly rug on top so that I can make them last 2 seasons or longer. I also find using a reflective fly rug helps keep them cool.
