We had the heavy weight ones for the past few years - personally think they are very good!
Blue managed to trash his but then his occupation is a rug trasher and he is VERY good at it unfortunately. Our other horses one is still 100% with only 2 small tears.
We've bought a replacement one for Blue this year and another for M. Both have come with free fleece rugs this time which is always handy.

I got a fab M/W one in the sale for £16!!!!
It fits Grace really well, and is VERY waterproof too. I have never had a DH one before, but I am very impressed with this one!

I have a bright pink LW TO and it is proving very good so far
