Has anyone worn Derbyhouse Breeches - and if so what are they like? I usually buy Cavallo which are amazingly comfortable and hardwearing - but wondered what the quality of the Derbyhouse ones were - They are half the price and less of the Cavallo - But I don't want it to be a false economy!!!

If not... what do you wear?

cannot comment on the quality of Derby house breeches. I love my pikeurs but get the cheaper ones with the suede knee patches. Good alternative is RTS Bentex, again I just go for the knee patch ones. Get them direct from the manufacturer much cheaper than anywhere in the UK. www.rts-sportline.com

I wasn't overly taken by the Derby House ones i bought - i can't remember which ones they were though. However I am a great fan of the mark todd ones!

Oh you superstar -that's a proper money saving website!

I have two pairs of DH breeches, recently got one pair in the sale. I prefer the Just Togs high waisted ones, but the range of colours is not as good. The DH ones are pretty good and seem value for money to me, the ones I have both have full clarino seats.

I have had a couple of pairs of DH breeches and they have always been good! The £20 cheap ones do brilliantly for everyday use - and have lasted a lot longer than my other breeches that were twice the price - and the posher full seat ones are lovely too!

Only thing I will say is that they seem to come up slightly small so I buy a size bigger.

I brought a pair of DH breeches - and never again. They are thin and uncomfortable. On the other hand I brought some in Tescos for £25 - and they are absolutely cracking.

I've had my DH ones for about 8 months now and they are scruffy, shabby looking and have not washed well. The material is all pilled. I've had Pikeur ones for 10 years and they look as good as new. I'll never buy DH ones again.
