Sophie has a rash for a couple of days now under her jaw, and seems to be rubbing it prob on stable door so is has spread now and looks a bit raw and oozy. Would love to get hold of some dermapred, as my old tube of dermobion is just about done, but the two sites I can find on google selling dermapred (animalpharmacy and troy something) their sites are down at the moment.

Can anyone computer literate help me find a stockist??

Please help.

That was the other one I tried, but the page says it is down until 31st Oct, and someone said the animal pharmacy one has been down for ages.

Not terrible urgent at the moment (as had the vet out for mare, and steroid and antib injections have sorted her out), but coming into the winter I would love to have some on stand by in the first aid kit.

Anyone have any other ideas.

You could try getting Dermapred by mail order from Austrailia or the states, may take a while to arrive though or failing that I've found Betadine ointment to work well and it's about £4 something for a big tube from Boots chemists- (you have to ask for it, it's not on the shelves).

Thanks - I've googled betadine, and it sounds useful, esp if it can be got from mainstream chemists.

Have you used it in the past for similar situations (that dermobion would previously have been used)?
