Anyones horse had this???????
How long did it take to clear up and did it come back agian or onec its gone is that it, ive googled it but just want to know if anyone on here has had experiances on it.

It's mud fever and rainscald. If you use a suitable anti-bacterial wash and ointment then it's usually totally cleared up within a couple of weeks to a month.

There is a lot of it about at the moment probably due to the wet summer, it's probably having a party since it's not even cold yet!

My filly just had it on one side of her nose. As above anti bacterial I use citricidal, a natural anti bacteria, antibiotic diluted liquid wash or I you can get the tablets and put them in feed for persistant outbreaks, or coloidal silver would do it as well.
