Dermobion ointment

Hi does anyone know where I can get this from as my old stuff I had has now run out. I know its banned in the uk but I have searched on the net and found some people saying you can buy it from Belgium and austrailer. If so does anyone else have a website address etc for this.

The aussie one from the vet is called Ilium Dermapred and comes in a jar similar toa Vicks jar but bigger - believe it was about £45 but not sure if licensed for horse use in the UK

Many thanks really appreciate it. My mare cut her leg in some wire and although not v big was quite deep. Used lots of other stuff on it but didn't heal v well then started getting proud flesh until I remembered about my Dermobion I had that also was quite old. Has started to heal it lovely and reduce the proud flesh but know i will run out before it is totally healed.

Wouldn't have been dermobion at Countrywide! - its an antibiotic & steroid which was always a POM (prescription only) and FEI competition banned due to ingredients.

Not legally banned, but the licence ran out and even at £45 per pot it wasn't worth the company renewing

That said its easy enough to obtain if you know where to look.

Hi, Try theanimalpharmacy.com I read some negative stuff about them but looked anyway. I started to place the order but got nervous because there were no contact details on the site and payment seemed unsecure. I didn't think I had placed an order but today my Dermapred turned up - with a note saying they can't take credit cards and please send a cheque. I checked the ingredients and they seem identical to an old tube of Dermobion I still have. Going to give it a go on my horse's mud fever. It comes from Belgium so sounds like the same site as you have heard about.
