In a sentence!! Am writing up my methodology for my dissertation, and need a short quirky sentence to describe

"Good Quality Hay"

As in, not dusty or wet, but not the best!! But in a scientific type manner!!

Low moisture content, where a mix sward is often desirable cut to provide maximum protein & sugar post flowering of the grass. The grass should have been dried for no more than 8 days to ensure minimum dust content.

Pure ryegrass hay can often lead to a soft grass content, equines have a tendency to prefer mix swards as this provides a harder more palatable content.

Haha... short quirky sentance not an essay!!! (only joking, I'vm very grateful)

Thanks though, will try and shorten that!!

Its only going in a footnote to try and explain what I mean by good quality.

Here's my quirky footnote:

Clean, green, no mould when sold. Okay for a porky.
