Hi all, so all going well, plan on getting out & about a good bit next year to local shows, combined training etc...

Thankfully I have access to an indoor school so hoping to help desentise my mare to common things she may see & come across when out & about...

She is not overly spooky but will look @ things she isn't used to..
Need to do some work on introducing her to bicycles as she is a bit iffy when comes across them.
She is fine with heavy machinery etc , fine with dogs & screaming kids

All I can come up with is also introducing her to umbrellas & flags.. any other suggestions?

Flowerpots!!! They were my downfall on my shetland a few times - but only when they had yellow flowers in! Red, orange, pink, blue etc all fine but not yellow. Strange pony!

Rustly bags, bits of paper, rosettes on bridle and the likes.

Banners, tack feed bags to the fence.
Agree with the flower pots.
White boards for dressage.
Play music in the area, maybe a bell or whistle to start.
