A few years ago i was looking for a chinese crested bitch, but was some what put off by the £1000 that i was going to have to spend!!
Any way,it seemed like fate when i came across an advert for chihuahua x cresteds local to me. I ended up with a hairless boy who we all love dearly.
To cut a long story short, when he was 2 years old,he suffered what the vet thought was a stroke. He was put on steroids and antibitotics, and seemed to improve, how ever a few days later he took a turn for the worse and sadly we had to have him put to sleep. The vet thought he had a brain tumour.
Now this has really put me off designer dogs(at the time i didnt even think about him being designer)
Would this of happened in a "normal" dog, even what we called mongels as kids?????
