Desperate for a rider .

Cannot belive how hard (impossible) it is to find a rider to bring my pony on , backed in Jan with no vices but looking for someone to help with her schooling .

Looking for a experienced rider under 11 st to ride a 14.2 NF x , no obligation apart from riding a couple of times a week in the DN9 South Yorks North Lincs border .

Are you paying them if they're bringing the pony on for you?

it might work out easier and less expensive to send the pony away. Thats what I did with mine. A months work and he was like a different horse

Yes have paid but thought there would be a queue of riders wanting a nice pony to ride and take to local shows at no expense to themselves , but could not have got that more wrong.

Thats not the problem Frank , she has been professionally backed but I have no rider for her (and do not want to sell her) so I need someone to keep her going rather than be a field ornament .

Its the exact problem I had. I was offering to pay for lessons and shows etc and couldnt find anyone for love or money sadly, and believe me I tried and tried! I sent him away to be educated to a reasonable standard so I didnt have to worry about that anymore. Luckily mine is a rock steady hack so I now have an older lady who hacks him out 4 times a week, then I rope a friend in one day a week to jump and do fast work. Its working really well and my older lady even pays me!

Mines 14.1/2hh and despite being more than capable of carrying a decent height and weight adult rider, the ones that can bring them on, want bigger horses unfortunately. I had untold amounts of "keen" teenagers who were so unreliable I gave it up as a bad idea in the end
