My farrier has trapped a nerve in his back & all mine need shoeing. He has tried all his farrier mates who are all fully booked.
Adrian is getting on for 9 weeks cos he went to Rossdales for 8 days on the day he was due to be shod, & then had to wait til the farrier was coming back for Trev & Jenny (tomo).
Trev is an ex-racer & due tomo. I can hear that the back shoes are really ready to be done...they don't feel loose yet but I'm sure I can hear the beginnings of a clank.
Jenny is 37 & only has fronts but it's not good for her old bones if she gets thrown back on her heels.
A & J are fab to shoe...Trev is okay on Sedalin. Does anyone know of a farrier who would come out at short notice? Virtually any price paid, plus a fried egg sandwich & as many cups of tea as they want!!
Also in SY as I really am desperate!!
