if that was addressed to you it may mean that the poster is sending you a personal message (in which case you will see a flashing envelope on the screen), and if they are sending YOU a personal message it might well be to tell you that direct advertising is not permitted in the terms and conditions and that your posts will be disappearing as fast as you put them on the forum.
