Desperately need WIDE FITTING fly rug suggestions!

One of my retired horses is 15.2hh but the width of a shire horse! I have tried a premier equine and a Mark Todd fly rugs but none of them are wide enough for his chest........any suggestions of other makes, ????

Hi, there is a small company on the internet called The Big Horse Rug Company they will be worth a look at. Rugs are for cobs through to shires, hope that helps.x

I did look there but their rugs are over £100 and the owner doesn't have a budget over £100 for a fly rug.....

I use a chest expander with our big lad, needs a 7'6 rugs which are so rare or very expensive so buy a 7ft and add a chest expander

My mare is broad and I've just bought her a 6ft6" shires "ultraflector" its really good quality and is actually a bit big for her.

Got my for about £45 +P&P

Love Shire stuff since it always fits her well (apart from this one I could/ should have got a 6ft3"!)

Edit: to say my girl is only 15.2hh and in a 6ft6" to give you an idea of how broad she is (not fat though!)
