Mature 17 year old, experienced lady rider is desperately seeking 15-17hh Dressage horse on loan capable of at least a nice Novice test! Very calm rider, with soft hands and a good seat.
Currently competeing my 17.1hh ex eventer to Novice which is ideally the level I want to carry on at for now, trying to "perfect" these tests.. I am still young and have so many years to ride up through the grades, right now I would like to concentrate on improving my riding transitions & lateral work etc. Before retiring my horse we had been training Elementary/Medium level at home. I Spent the summer working for an International dressage rider whilst having the ride of a 16.3hh Hanoverian mare schooling at Advanced Medium.
Situated on a nice yard in Hampshire with an Indoor & 3 Outdoor schools, Horse Walker, Hot water shower & choice of Indoor or Outdoor stabling. All year turnout is great - always lots of grass, friendly horses to turn out with in small groups & monthly Gareth Hughes lessons on site!!
I am desperate to get back in the saddle as my lad has sadly now retired from all competition, I am a dedicated rider with plenty of time to put into the right horse. I am not looking for a dressage superstar ready to compete at a higher level - what I need/would prefer is an experienced, "people pony" to help me improve. Once I create a bond with a horse I find it hard to let go - so not to worry, I'm not looking for a horse to help me improve, then send it home.. I would love to keep him/her as long term as possible, possibly even after retirement.(my retired horse will stay with me forever!) However I wouldn't mind short term for the right horse.
Any ideas etc welcome, e-mail me at; poshponies@hotmail.co.uk
Thanks.
