Came down to the yard the other morning and the blasted foxes had ripped apart: a brand new bridle (left out by mistake), chewed 3 headcollars, taken a whole grooming kit and chewed it and taken a set of brushing boots and ruined them. Walk round the side to look for parts of the bridle and there is a stash of 'items' including a brand new tube of callendular cream, arnica and more haynets...if only the neighbours didn't feed them! It's sending the dogs mad and they won't come in at night because they are manically running round trying to find them! How can we deter them, absolute pests.

Thank you!

Not the most practical suggestion, but......

Get a llama/alpaca - apparently they are very good at chasing foxes off.

Only prob is that it sounds like you would to have them roaming around your yard!

Agree with the llama thing, we have a llama and she is great at keeping the foxes away. Another things I've heard of is getting men to urinate outside, however I can't see how this would be much different to dogs weeing outside.

Human hair hung in tights (collect from barbers) and weeing on the boundary regularly does the trick (according to the episode of River Cottage that I watched) :)
